Ukázání ID v administraci wp

Pro spoustu pokročilejších uživatelů je překvapivé že WP standardně neumí zobrazit v administraci ID (unikátní identifikační číslo) příspěvku, kategorie atd.
Jedno řešení je zjistit si to z URL během editace stránky -
http://vaseadresa.cz/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=107 <toto je číslo stránky 
Druhé je tento plugin
Do sloupečků v administraci přidá jeden s ID. Moc užitečné a praktické.

Nechce se mi přemýšlet a nikdy jsem to nepoužíval, k čemu je to ID dobré?
Když píšeš plugin, speciální funkci do vzhledu nebo tak něco a potřebuješ pracovat s konkrétními kategoriemi(stránkami atd.) tak se to hodí
.
Tak dá se bez ID fungovat, ale když si člověk časem třebas vyvzpomene, že by chtěl doplnit nějakou blbůstku navíc, najednou zjistí, že se mu to hodí. I některé pluginy pracují s ID kategoriemi, a pak samozřejmě různé úpravy v kódu.
